The owner of a MMORPG community fansite was stalked to his residence on September 14th.  The stalkers began calling his cell phone number posing as his hosting company.  Over the weekend, the calls became more frequent and a suspicious visitor knocked on his door on the 14th but fled when confronted.  Police are still investigating.

MMOG 1.0 Project

MMOG will be performing maintenance on the server on Wednesday, September 10th, 2008 from 12:00 AM PST to 2:00 AM PST. During this time, the forum, wiki, blogs, and gallery may be unavailable, and the server itself may be unavailable as certain critical server daemons are reconfigured and restarted. Several new features will be implemented during this maintenance and several existing features will be upgraded. Ok, long story short.

Apparently Metal aka root admin @ Mytrickster pretty pissed with most of the staff and members of Mytrickster.net, after someone reported that Mytrickster, MyChase and other sites are hosted along with porn sites, hentai and also hacks sites.

And whats pissed off other members is that where’s the donation money gone to? Since it’s shared hosting, so their donation money is mostly gone for the servers, yes, of course, and that seems helps the other porn sites and hacks sites as well.

Metal did a worst move, he decided banning noejeko [which was the former root admin of Mytrickster], along with other staff members, after he found out that noejeko have another site. Heh? And irony is Baikin willing to help noejeko if he got another site.

Metal not only starts banning most of the staff, he also bans other members who spreads the truth about his “pet” sites, and apparently, he took down whole Mytrickster Forum, as well as Mytrickster’s Wiki. But it seems after hours of down time, only Mytrickster Wiki is still up, as the time of writing. So if you go to Mytrickster Forum, you’ll redirected to Mytrickster Wiki instead.

Anyway, thanks to noejeko’s new site, everyone have a new place to go. The new forum is not just about Trickster Online alone, but it consists of multiple mmo as well such as Mabinogi, Lunia, Perfect World and more!

It seems after the latest update in Trickster Online…drags a lot players back to Trickster Online, due to some of their ‘mega events’ o_o…

This May they seems including some of the ‘mega events’ to the game.

Tho they added a lot events this May, its seems the players who benefit most from this events are those newbies or new starters who just started the game…

Hi, Miyuki here again ^_^. I heard that some of the Tricksters have problem when playing Trickster Online in Windows Vista, whether its not sound issue or slow performance hit issues such as when launching Trickster then your computer will stops responding.

Ok, it seems nowadays new notebooks that everyone bought now comes with preloaded Windows Vista…yeap, I do own a Windows Vista notebook :s.

Anyway, who actually to blame in this problem? mmm…I could say both :x Why? Windows Vista seems not compatible with some games, but usually latest patches and hot fixes will fixes the issue. Second, is NTreev, why? Since they didn’t even bother to upgrade their GayGuard module…er…GameGuard module. Latest GameGuard module fixes most the issues…but they don’t even freakin upgrade it yet ><…yet their GrandChase uses the latest GameGuard module >:o

So, fine, if they don’t upgrade it yet, here…I’ll help out you guys who have problem playing Trickster Online in Windows Vista ^_^…Just click the link and follow the picture guided steps =D.

But first, make sure you’ve logon to Windows Vista as administrator account.

Ok, this should solves the no sound issue, you’ll no need to re-start whole steps again if you closes Trickster Online. But, you MUST do the steps again if you restarted your computer. Below is some alternatives that if you encounter some problem or other simple way. Just replace it with Step 7 and onward.

Still, don’t put all blames to Windows Vista, its also NTreev’s fault for not upgrading their GayGuard…er…GameGuard module ><…I do hope they address this issue A.S.A.P, since the latest Gay…er…GameGuard fixes all those issues, including performance hit when antivirus is running and also other quick launch issues.

GM have said that this Chaos Tower won’t be easy as previous dungeon or other area…and it will proves challenging even to high leveled players.

Ok, now I’ll need to find the entrance to this Chaos Tower, and according to the info, the portal to the Chaos Tower is guarded by …Don Giuvanni??? Oh well, its not surprising either, as he’s a collector freak…so yeah :x. Think any level can go in? Nope, only a character at least level 160 can go in, else, he/she can work hard to reach the level requirement.

Since I’m level 200, so, it wouldn’t be a problem anyway.

• mmm…extended warranty [3 years warranty], but still I don’t want anything happens to my lappy, lol.

And also, I accidentally caused BSOD yesterday due to some “config files” that I messed yesterday and forced to use Recovery @_@…it seems some of my software doesn’t work with Vista SP1, but works with Vista without SP1.

Windows Vista can be ‘friendly’ if you’re using fast processor and at least 1~2GB of ram…but also can be a ‘killer’ if you’re using lower computer specifications…heh…
