Random Entry – 01/05/2008 – Trickster Online No Sound in Windows Vista???!!!

Hi, Miyuki here again ^_^. I heard that some of the Tricksters have problem when playing Trickster Online in Windows Vista, whether its not sound issue or slow performance hit issues such as when launching Trickster then your computer will stops responding.
Ok, it seems nowadays new notebooks that everyone bought now comes with preloaded Windows Vista…yeap, I do own a Windows Vista notebook :s.
Anyway, who actually to blame in this problem? mmm…I could say both :x Why? Windows Vista seems not compatible with some games, but usually latest patches and hot fixes will fixes the issue. Second, is NTreev, why? Since they didn’t even bother to upgrade their GayGuard module…er…GameGuard module. Latest GameGuard module fixes most the issues…but they don’t even freakin upgrade it yet ><…yet their GrandChase uses the latest GameGuard module >:o
So, fine, if they don’t upgrade it yet, here…I’ll help out you guys who have problem playing Trickster Online in Windows Vista ^_^…Just click the link and follow the picture guided steps =D.
But first, make sure you’ve logon to Windows Vista as administrator account.

Ok, this should solves the no sound issue, you’ll no need to re-start whole steps again if you closes Trickster Online. But, you MUST do the steps again if you restarted your computer. Below is some alternatives that if you encounter some problem or other simple way. Just replace it with Step 7 and onward.

Ok, as I mentioned, you should be able playing Trickster with sound now ^_^…Below is some other alternative that you could start Trickster Online without hassle to stop and start the audio service again. Note: Might not work with all machines.

That’s it, Trickster Online, in Windows Vista…now with SOUNDS!
Still, don’t put all blames to Windows Vista, its also NTreev’s fault for not upgrading their GayGuard…er…GameGuard module ><…I do hope they address this issue A.S.A.P, since the latest Gay…er…GameGuard fixes all those issues, including performance hit when antivirus is running and also other quick launch issues.

I had the problem.. I bought new pc 2 years ago, with windows vista, i was all exciting about the new windows, it was new and hot!
Not knowing that Windows has fucked up vista so bad,
I own DirextX10, and i can play games wich recuire Dx9…
I can downgrade too dx9, when i have the ” better ” dx10, how ironic
I hate vista so much, every time i run into problems, and i have too check google, if somewone had the awnser, mostly yes, buth im getting tired of it, vista slows down ur pc, most games give problems, and its shit overall
Vista makes me puke, and makes me dream about owening XP again.
Since i dont have money growing on my back, i can purchase a new pc, since im saving for a new 9300 graphic card. (wich i wonder if it wil even work with vista..)
Gosh i want too go back int he days, when i had xp, and NONE problems @ all.
Windows didndt do a good job, il blame tham forever for ruining my pc expierence
